According to police reports, 22-year-old Hassan Salim Chigulu was yesterday at around 23:05hrs arrested at areas of Shikaadabu secondary by members of the community policing under the leadership of Vijiweni Sub-location assistant chief while he together with others who managed to escape were planning to terrorise residents.

The team was on a routine patrol at Maweche area in Vyemani Sub-location when they received intelligence reports about the existence of the gang.

Chigulu was arrested while in possession of a panga and taken to Inuka police station where he was placed under the safe custody of police awaiting court arrangements to face charges of preparation to commit a felony.
