Voices for Palestine an organization from Nairobi in conjunction with the County government of Mombasa today convened a meeting with Imams from all sub counties in the area objective being creation of awareness and support for the innocent people ofPalestine who have been living in an open air battle field shell and prison so far categorized as Genocide.

The awareness involves a WALK – PROCESSION (PLANT A TREE SAVE A LIFE Campaign) scheduled 8th November 2025 aiming to plant and grow 10,000 trees in support of an AID anticipated to raise 30 million shillings. Mombasa are going sound as planned, sentiments which  were echoed as well by Walk coordinator Dr. Rafik Rauf. Meanwhile the county government has assured security from all local homeland security departments in a procession intended to attract 40,000 people from all walks of life regardless religion.

Date and route plan is 8 th Sarturday of November 2025 from 08:30hrs in Mombasa at Mapembeni – Uhuru Gardens Moi Avenue end point at Mama Ngina waterfront where an exercise of massive tree planting shall be conducted and other fundraisings according to the Walk subcommitte. Stakeholders on board so far committed to the event include PLWD’S, Doctors, Emergency responders, Community groups, Security personnel,Media to mention but a few.
